Commissions, Tattoo Designs, & Other Custom Work

Unfinished by Duncan (UBD) is a small art company based in Arizona. We have many goals and they include:

• to collaborate with clients to make cool sh*t

Art in our opinion should have no judgement, no pressure, no rules or guidelines, and quite honestly is such a broad spectrum that there is room for us all. So with that in mind, let's talk about what we can do for you.

Friend, the sky is the limit. And even then, we can drift into space. So, let's talk about what we've done to give you a better idea of what you may want.

Our commission history includes creating:

• tattoo designs
• adoption booklets
• brand marketing such as vinyl banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, thank you cards, gift cards, etc.
• sticker designs
• pin designs
• large canvas prints
• presentations
• pamphlets
• and various other artworks

If we can't create it, we're happy to let you know and provide our recommendations for what you're looking for! We pride ourselves on creating special pieces and will not take on a project that we can't complete or create to the full extent of your vision.

Ahhh - pricing... It's a scary topic, but it doesn't have to be. Commissioned pieces are a commitment, the pricing reflects years of experience, education, time, and considers the factors of how detailed your piece is.

We try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to your quote for commissioned pieces. Base pricing is listed below:

• 250$ | custom pieces in various sizes must be priced according to size, detail, and what clients are looking for
• 150$ | brand logos
• 250$ | tattoo designs must be priced according to size, detail, and what clients are looking for
• 150$ | adoption booklets (base price includes a minimum of seven total pages)
• 60$ | sticker designs
• 50$ | pin designs
• 300$ | large canvas prints
• 100$ | presentations
• 80$ | pamphlets

Brand marketing such as vinyl banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, thank you cards, gift cards, etc. pricing must be determined after a free consult call to determine where the client is at with their brand development and identity.

If the listed base pricing is out of your initial budget, please still connect with us. We're happy to discuss payment plans!

We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted cost before the commission content is begun. This non-refundable deposit will go toward the final balance of your commissioned piece.

Well, if you hire us (which we hope you do), we'll be working on your timeline. During a free 30-minute consult call, we'll discuss:

• your wants, needs, ideas
• project timeline
• budget
• goals for the project
• if you need printing support for your project
• things you don't like
• if you're a reader or music person, this is bound to join the conversation

Our resident artist, Shannon, enjoys trying new things and is also adaptable to each person's needs and equirements for their commissions. We will work closely together to ensure that you are happy with the plan before work is started.

2. After we discuss your project, budget, timeline, etc. we'll send you a proposal with the required 50% non-refundable deposit amount.
3. Once the deposit is paid, we'll start your project! Once we have a rough sketch, we'll send it to you for approval.
4. During the sketch approval process, we'll discuss color schemes, typography (if necessary), and any edits you'd like.
5. After the sketch is finalized, we move into the outlines and color planning. This step may change a bit depending on your needs.
6. Once we're in the final stages of your project, we'll request final approval. After all edits and changes are approved, we'll work on getting you your design. This may include printing for you, providing a reference, etc.
7. We will always provide you with multiple files for the final design, as it is YOUR design. We do not produce your design for any other purpose other than for you, our client.
